# Anthropic Messages API

Use the Anthropic-compatible Messages interface with a Genesis-enabled credential and a model visible to that credential. Configure an Anthropic SDK with `auth_token` when it must send `Authorization: Bearer <ACCESS_TOKEN>`.

Messages has its own request, response, streaming, image, and tool formats. Confirm endpoint, model, and provider support with a minimal request before relying on multimodal or tool capabilities.
