# Usage, logs, and quotas

Use the Genesis console to inspect usage and request records for the current credential and time range. Preserve request IDs, model IDs, timestamps, and redacted error details when investigating a call.

Do not assume fixed public rate limits, quotas, response headers, or programmatic log-query APIs unless the current interface explicitly documents them. For `429` or transient `5xx` responses, use bounded retries only when the request is safe to retry and retain diagnostics for follow-up.
