Connector tasks¶

Use connector to query and manage connectors, preview files, create import tasks, and query export tasks. Connectors and tasks belong to the current workspace.

Create and track tasks¶

Task	Commands	Notes
Inspect or validate a connector	`get`, `validate`	Confirm that the connector is usable before creating a task.
Preview a file	`preview-file`	Confirm the file and content scope.
Create an import or export task	`create-task`, `create-export-task`	Provide complex configuration only with confirmed `--json` or `--json-file` input.
Inspect task state	`get-task`, `task-runs`, `export-task-state`	Save connector and task IDs; acceptance does not mean completion.

Before deleting, retrying, or resuming a task, read its latest state. After a network timeout, do not submit the task again immediately: first check whether the original task was created or is already running.

Browse structured sources and prepare mappings¶

Browse database sources	`db-list-databases`, `db-list-schemas`, `db-list-tables`, `db-source-schema`	Confirm the source from database to table.
Browse structured sources	`structured-sources`, `structured-source-databases`, `structured-source-schemas`, `structured-source-objects`, `structured-source-schema`	Confirm objects level by level; `structured-backfill-start-resolve` resolves a backfill start point.
Confirm a MatrixOne target table	`mo-database-list`, `mo-database-table-list`, `mo-check-table-name`	Confirm target databases and tables before a write.
Generate or inspect column mappings	`mo-column-mapping`	Provide mapping and backfill parameters only through confirmed `--json` or `--json-file` input.

Manage files, imports, and exports¶

Download, stream, or delete connector files	`file-download`, `file-stream`, `file-delete`	Read the current file state before deletion.
Manage import tasks	`update-task`, `update-task-from-spec`, `delete-task`, `pause-task`, `resume-task`, `task-files`, `task-runs`, `retry-task-files`	Save the task ID and target volume or file information before operating.
Manage export tasks	`export-tasks`, `export-task-info`, `export-task-files`, `create-export-task`, `retry-export-task`, `export-task-state`, `delete-export-task`	Read current state before a change; deletion does not undo data written to a destination system.
