# Understand agent configuration

Agent details bring together lasting settings and available resources. Before editing, confirm that you have opened the intended assistant.

The upper part of the page shows basic information and related resources. The system-prompt and resource sections provide the configuration you use to change its behavior.

| Name and description | Identify the assistant and explain its purpose | Finding, handing over, or changing responsibilities |
| Basic information | Status, creation time, runtime backend, and default reasoning model | Checking creation and execution configuration |
| Resource and usage counts | Conversations, skills, tools, knowledge bases, and tasks | Reviewing configuration and relationships |
| System prompt | Lasting responsibilities, input handling, and output constraints | Changing methods or boundaries |
| Skills | Reusable instructions or capability packages | Adding a repeatable workflow |
| Knowledge bases | Material available for retrieval | Answering questions from business information |
| Tools | Callable execution capabilities | Accessing search, business systems, or other services |

Counts help you locate configuration; verify actual behavior in a conversation. A resource in the workspace is not necessarily bound to this agent.
