# Cost and billing

This section describes the **MOI account-level billing center**. It uses unified **Credit** to manage charges for AI Studio and other platform services: view balances and bills, trace usage, top up, subscribe to value-added services, and configure balance alerts and spending protection.

This ledger is separate from instance CU/node billing on the **MatrixOne instance management platform**. For instance-side billing, see [Instance billing](../billing/matrixone-billing.md).

## Open the billing center

1. Click your avatar in the upper-right corner of the top bar to open the account menu.
2. Select **Billing Center** to open the standalone billing page.

You can also click the **Credit badge** in the top bar. The badge displays the current balance and may change color according to balance status, such as normal, low, or insufficient. Refer to the UI for the actual thresholds.

The billing center is an **account-level** page. Workspace switching and Data/Agent mode switching are generally not displayed after you enter it.

## What the billing center contains

| Cost overview | Credit balance, spending trends, and monthly bill overview |
| Usage details | Trace each type of consumption by billing cycle, day, or hour |
| Transaction details | Top-up and spending transactions; invoice requests |
| Settings | Subscriptions, balance alerts, spending protection, automatic top-up, notifications, and invoices |
