# Spend Limits and Balance Protection

The Settings entry on the current user billing page is disabled. This page does not provide steps for monthly spend limits, new-account spend rate limits, or pausing service when the balance reaches zero, because the current page does not yet form a complete user flow to open, save, and confirm that settings take effect.

## Current status

The source includes the following settings fields and page copy:

- Monthly spend limit
- New-account spend rate limit
- Pause service when balance reaches zero
- Automatic top-up related fields

These fields only show that the settings model has been reserved. They do not by themselves prove that ordinary users can configure them today or that the settings already affect real spending. After the user-facing Settings entry is available and results are verified, configuration steps and effective rules can be added.
