Configure an export target

The export target determines where files or processing results are written. When creating a task, first select a verified available target connector, then provide the fields required for that target.

Choose an export destination in the console

  1. Select a connector that can be used for export.

  2. To export to object storage, enter the target path and select a compression method.

  3. To export to MatrixOne, select the target database and table, then map export columns to target columns.

Export to object storage

After selecting an OSS or standard S3 connector, files are written to a target path in the bucket configured for that connector. The bucket and access credentials come from the connector configuration and are not entered again in the export task.

  • Target path: Enter a path in the bucket. The current page requires a trailing /, for example exports/.

  • Compression: Select Gzip or no compression.

Export to MatrixOne

After selecting a MatrixOne connector, exported data is written to a database table in that connector.

  • Target table: Select an existing table or enter the name of a table to create.

  • Column mapping: For each export column, select the corresponding target-table column. When columns are not merged, the page submits an empty merged-column list.

  • Duplicate data handling: When creating a table, the current page uses Keep. When selecting an existing table, use the options provided by the page to overwrite, skip, or keep duplicate data.

Field mapping for direct API calls

The page generates type and config for the selected connector. For direct API calls, provide the two values as follows. Each request submits the configuration object for only the selected target.
