# View role audit events

View a specified role's operations in chronological order. You can filter by operation, actor, or result.

## Preparation before calling

First [select the role](list-roles.md#select-a-role). Keep the cursor returned by the previous page if you need to continue reading. Prepare a personal access token with access to the target workspace and the [target workspace ID](../../../../../guides/ai-studio/resource-center/workspace.md#copy-a-workspace-id).

When `data.next_cursor` is not empty, use it as `cursor` for the next request and retain the other filters. Stop when `data.next_cursor` is empty.
