User Management¶
User Management maintains the members of the current AI Studio workspace. You can view members, invite existing AI Studio accounts to the workspace, assign roles, maintain tags, change member status, or remove members.
User list¶
Open User Permissions > User Management to view the member list for the current workspace. The list supports keyword search, filtering by status, sorting by creation time, and pagination.
Column |
Description |
|---|---|
User ID |
Identifier of the workspace member |
Username |
Name displayed for the member in the workspace |
Status |
Enabled or disabled |
Role list |
One or more roles currently assigned to the member |
Creation time |
Time when the member joined or the record was created |
Description |
Description entered when the member was invited |
Actions on the page are displayed according to the current operator’s role permissions. The system-reserved super administrator account cannot have its roles, tags, or status modified here and cannot be removed.
Invite a user¶
Invite User adds an existing AI Studio account to the current workspace; it does not create a new account. At least one available role must be specified when sending an invitation.
Click Invite User on the User Management page.
Enter the member’s name and use an email address or mobile phone number to specify their existing AI Studio account.
Select one or more enabled roles.
Add tags and a description as needed.
Confirm the submission. The system associates the account with the current workspace.
If the submitted account is not an existing AI Studio account, the invitation cannot be completed. Confirm that the account information is correct before submitting again.
Assign and modify roles¶
Roles determine which AI Studio features a member can use. A member can be associated with multiple roles. When roles are modified, the saved role list becomes the member’s final role assignment in the current workspace.
Click Modify Roles in the operation column for the target member.
Select the roles to retain or add, and remove roles that no longer apply.
Save, return to the list, and confirm that the Role column matches expectations.
Before modifying roles, determine whether the member’s current connectors, tasks, data assets, or other workspace capabilities will be affected. For role creation and permission configuration, see Role Permissions.
Tag management¶
Tags organize and identify workspace members, for example by team, project, or responsibility. They do not change a member’s feature permissions.
Click Tag Management on the User Management page.
Create, modify, or delete workspace tags.
Select the applicable tags for a member when inviting the user or modifying user information.
Use tag names with stable meanings that are commonly understood by the team. Do not use tags as a substitute for access control. To restrict features, modify the member’s roles.
Enable, disable, and remove¶
Operation |
Purpose |
Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
Enable |
Restore a disabled member to an available state |
First confirm that the member’s roles still match their current responsibilities |
Disable |
Set the member’s status to disabled |
Temporarily prevent the member from using the current workspace |
Delete |
Remove the association between the member and the current workspace |
Use when a member leaves the workspace or no longer needs access |
Deleting a user only removes the account’s membership in the current workspace; it does not delete the AI Studio account itself. Before disabling or deleting a member, confirm whether ongoing tasks and resources need to be handed over.
View operation logs¶
Click Logs in the operation column for the target member to view that member’s workspace user operation logs. Use these logs to audit member-management changes and troubleshoot problems.
The User Management page does not manage user API Keys or personal-account sign-in records. Those capabilities are outside the current AI Studio User Permissions module.
