Set IP whitelist¶
Setting up an IP whitelist is an important feature in the MatrixOne Intelligence service, which allows you to limit which IP addresses can access your database and ensure that only trusted IP addresses can connect to the database server to increase the security of the database.
This document will introduce you to how to set up an IP whitelist.
How to set up IP whitelist¶
Here are the steps to set up an IP whitelist in MatrixOne Intelligence:
Instance creation
Log in to the MatrixOne Intelligence console using your MatrixOne Intelligence account
Click on the upper right corner**+Create instance**
Selectto allow specified IP access in the network policy, click Add local public network IP, it can be automatically populated, click**+ to add a new IP** to add an IP whitelist
After instance creation
Log in to the MatrixOne Intelligence console using your MatrixOne Intelligence account.
In the console, select and click to enter the database instance where you want to set the IP whitelist.
Click to enterNetwork Policy > Edit
Selectto allow specified IP access in the pop-up box, clickto add local public network IP, which can be automatically filled, click**+ to add a new IP**, which can be added to the IP whitelist, or delete or modify the added IP whitelist.
By turning on the IP whitelist, make sure that only trusted IP addresses can access the database server. Please configure the IP whitelist with caution and regularly review and update the IP addresses that are allowed to access to keep the database secure.
