Using a binary package on macOS

MatrixOne v4.2.4 does not publish a native macOS binary package. The v4.2.4 release provides only linux-x86_64 and linux-arm64 archives; it has no darwin-x86_64 or darwin-arm64 asset.

Warning

The binary-package installation procedure cannot be used for MatrixOne v4.2.4 on macOS. Do not use a Linux archive on macOS and do not construct an unlisted download URL or package path.

To install MatrixOne v4.2.4 on macOS, follow Using Source Code on macOS. This versioned page intentionally does not provide mo_ctl binary-mode configuration or startup commands because there is no compatible v4.2.4 package to configure or start.
