MatrixOne v26.4.2.4 Release Notes¶
Release Date: September 17, 2026 MatrixOne Version: v26.4.2.4 (v4.2.4)
MatrixOne v26.4.2.4 is a maintenance release that fixes vector similarity search result correctness for queries that combine an IVFFLAT vector index with an IN-subquery membership filter, and for LIMIT queries in multi-CN deployments.
Bug Fixes¶
Vector search with an IN-subquery membership filter (#28796): When an IVFFLAT-indexed table is filtered with an
IN-subquery (WHERE col IN (SELECT ...)) together with a vector similarity search (ORDER BY l2_distance(...) LIMIT k), the optimizer now applies the membership filter exactly before selecting the candidate set. Previously, an approximate membership filter could let false-positive rows occupy the Top-K candidate slots and produce missing or incorrect results. Integer primary keys now use an exact membership set, and non-integer primary keys use a bounded exactIN (...)predicate; if the exact predicate would exceed the internal size limit, the query fails with an explicit error instead of silently returning approximate results.Multi-CN IVF candidate ranking (#29021): In multi-CN deployments, vector similarity queries with a
LIMITnow rank candidates globally by distance before applying the limit. Previously, candidates could be merged in arrival order, which could let a single CN fill the entire candidate budget and return a suboptimal Top-K.
