MatrixOne v26.4.2.1 introduces the DataStream external table (CREATE EXTERNAL TABLE ... ENGINE = DATASTREAM) and fixes two query-behavior issues: deterministic ordering of floating-point NaN values in ORDER BY, and primary-key filter pushdown for nested AND/OR boolean expressions.

New Features

  • DataStream external table: CREATE EXTERNAL TABLE ... ENGINE = DATASTREAM maps a MatrixOne external table to a data source served by a remote DataStream (jstfu) server. The table is read-only, streams rows on demand, and accepts the server, port, and table options plus the optional recheck and apikey options. SHOW CREATE TABLE round-trips the DDL without revealing the apikey.

Behavior Changes

  • Deterministic floating-point NaN ordering: ORDER BY on FLOAT and DOUBLE columns now sorts NaN values after every numeric value (last) in both ascending and descending order, and treats all NaN values as peers. Signed zeroes are also treated as peers.

Bug Fixes

  • Nested primary-key OR branches preserved: predicates that combine a primary-key range with nested AND/OR branches (for example a <= ? AND (a = ? OR a > ?)) are now pushed down correctly, so queries with these conditions return the correct rows.
