MatrixOne v26.4.2.3 Release Notes

Release Date: September 20, 2026 MatrixOne Version: v26.4.2.3 (v4.2.3)

MatrixOne v26.4.2.3 is a maintenance release that fixes several query and DDL correctness issues and adds a configurable HAKeeper client backend read timeout.

Bug Fixes

  • Correlated scalar aggregate subqueries: scalar subqueries with aggregates that correlate to an outer query now bound their scan to the correlated keys, so they no longer aggregate unrelated rows and return correct results.

  • Subscribed table secondary indexes: secondary indexes on tables created through CREATE DATABASE ... FROM ... PUBLICATION are now resolved, so FORCE INDEX and secondary index scans work on subscribed tables.

  • CREATE DATABASE IF NOT EXISTS: creating an existing database with IF NOT EXISTS no longer reports an affected row through ROW_COUNT() and no longer re-applies the implicit ownership grant or the MySQL compatibility-mode record. Concurrent CREATE DATABASE for the same name is also serialized and re-checked.

  • INSERT ... ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE: fixed handling of conflict-target columns that exist only on the stored row, such as an auto-increment primary key plus a secondary unique key on a child table with a foreign key.

  • Prepared statements: a prepared statement parameter’s NULL state is now isolated between executions, so a NULL value no longer leaks into later non-NULL executions of the same statement.

Improvements

  • Configurable HAKeeper client read timeout: the [hakeeper-client] section now accepts backend-read-timeout, which bounds how long the shared HAKeeper transport waits for a response before replacing the connection. It defaults to 8s and must be a positive duration.
