Create a new account in your organization.

Syntax

> CREATE ACCOUNT  [IF NOT EXISTS]
account auth_option
[COMMENT 'comment_string']

auth_option: {

    IDENTIFIED BY 'auth_string'

Explanations

Account names are case-sensitive. Mixed-case names and Unicode/CJK characters are preserved when MatrixOne checks whether an account already exists. CREATE ACCOUNT IF NOT EXISTS only suppresses the duplicate-account error when the existing account name matches the requested name exactly.

auth_option

Specifies the default account name and authorization mode of the account, auth_string specifies the password explicitly.
