Connect a self-hosted runtime environment¶
Connect your own device so supported tasks can run there. You must be able to execute the connection command supplied by the page on that device.
Connect the device¶
Open Resource Center → Runtime Environments and select the connection action in the self-hosted section.
Enter a recognizable device or environment name.
Follow the page to generate a one-time connection command.
Run that command on the intended device and inspect the terminal output.
Return to MOI and wait for the environment to appear as connected.
Select it in a new conversation and verify a small task.
Use the one-time command only on the intended device. Do not paste it into public documentation or example conversations. Use the command generated for this connection rather than a fixed example.
Troubleshoot connectivity¶
Check that the command ran successfully, the device is online, and it can reach the services required by the page. Check the MOI list again. A saved name alone does not establish a completed connection.
Managed-environment allowlists and a self-hosted device’s network conditions are separate. Diagnose self-hosted connection problems using the device’s terminal messages and actual network access.
