Genesis Usage and Billing

Billing

Genesis is priced by model. Token-based APIs separate input, output, cache creation, and cache hits, and all are charged as Genesis Credit. See the model details on the console Models page for unit prices. For billing definitions and boundaries with other billable items, see Credit and Billable Items.

The usage page counts only external calls you make with an API key. Agent, workflow, and similar usage inside AI Studio is recorded under the AI services ledger and is not mixed into Genesis console usage.

View usage

In the Genesis console sidebar, open Usage. This page counts only external calls made with an API key.

Analysis habits:

  • By model: Compare unit cost and whether cache hit rates are high enough

  • By key: Attribute cost to applications; dig into logs when something looks abnormal

Non-token usage (such as pages or images, if any) is counted separately or shown side by side on the usage page; follow the console.
