Configure WeCom enterprise mail¶
Connect with the complete email address and a client-specific password. This password is a mailbox-generated authorization code, not the mailbox login password.
Enable mail protocols¶
An authorization code and enabled mail services are separate requirements. Before completing MOI configuration:
Sign in to the enterprise mailbox web interface and open Settings at the top.
Open the send/receive settings.
In the service-enablement section, select Enable IMAP/SMTP services and save changes. IMAP receives mail; SMTP sends it.
POP/SMTP is needed only for POP3 reception. It is unnecessary for MOI’s IMAP reception.
If the switch is absent, disabled, or cannot remain enabled, contact the enterprise-mail administrator. Do not bypass organization policy.
Generate a client-specific password¶
In mailbox settings, open mailbox binding.
In the client-specific-password section, select Generate new password.
Complete the required verification and immediately copy the authorization code. It is usually shown only at generation time.
Create the MOI instance¶
Open Resource Center → Tools → WeCom → Add → Enterprise mail. Complete the fields below, select Test connection, and save only after the test succeeds.

Bind and validate¶
Bind the saved instance to the target agent. First request a read of one known test email and compare its subject and sender with the mailbox. For outbound email, specify the recipient, subject, and body and verify actual receipt.
If testing fails, check the client password, IMAP/SMTP service switches, server address, port, encryption method, network, and organization policy in that order. Repeated password generation alone does not resolve other connection conditions.
