DATEDIFF()

Function Description

The DATEDIFF() function returns the number of days between two dates.

Function Syntax

> DATEDIFF(expr1,expr2)

Parameter definition

Parameters Description
expr1, expr2 Required parameters. The expr1 and expr2 parameters are legal date or date/time expressions. Only the date part of the value participates in the calculation.

Example

mysql> SELECT DATEDIFF('2007-12-31 23:59:59','2007-12-30');
