INSERT INTO SELECT

Grammar Description

The `INSERT INTO SELECT statement copies data from a table and inserts the data into an existing table. And no existing rows in the target table are affected.

Grammar Structure

INSERT INTO table2 (column1, column2, column3, ...)
SELECT column1, column2, column3, ...
FROM table1
WHERE condition;
